She sat, leaning against a rather large oak, her back to the bloody scene behind her. When she was offered a lift, she had expected a lift, not to be kidnapped. Now she was rather further away from her initial destination than she had begun.
She had been sitting inside a wagon, simply glaring at the canvas wall when one of the men jumped in and attacked her. His cry called for the wagon to stop, midway through a forest path. The blood that coated both the inside and outside of the wagon was only the beginning.
behind her, a gory scene lay, two decapitated men, one covered in slash wounds, and another with a kunai dagger in his throat. And she sat, as if it did not exist, cleaning the blood from her wires onto a piece of cloth she had found in the wagon.

Francis walked slowly down the path the metal clinking as he walked, each step brought him closer to Saku. Finally the bloody mess on the ground notified him that someone was here and by the wounds it was Saku.
The Inquisitor walked across the manglied corpses not bothering to say a pray for them, if they were killed by Saku then they were evil. "Saku!" Francis called his voice booming with power and authority.

She could hear the steps but did not bother to move, she was hesitant when she heard the familiar voice, of course she knew who it was, but she wasn't all too interested and she wasn't finished cleaning her wires. Finally she rose to her feet and stepped out from behind the trees, her mismatched eyes looking blankly at Francis Howard.
despite the blood that was everywhere, she was untouched, not a single drop of blood on her, as far as could be seen, the only way you could tell she was involved was the unique wounds on the corpses.

Francis looked Saku up and down inspecting her body, not a single wound that was truly remarkable. "We need to find our brothers, war is stirring and we need to be at it's helm." Francis turned his attention to the corpses and shook his head. "What happaned to these...........pigs?" Francis was always in a bad mood when one of his fellow Bretheren got attacked although it was very rare indeed.
"We need to leave and find the others."

She said nothing at first, walking over to him, finishing wiping the blood from herr wires she held before cfarefully puytting them away, ready to use later. "They took me the wrong way." was her only explanation. She didn't know that they had planned to kidnap and sell her on to slavery elsewhere, but she knew that one was rude and attacked her, it was enough to feel her wrath.
She wondered a little how he had found her, she had been wandering on her own for a while now, but, still, if they had to move, then that was the way it was. She nodded and waited for him to move, she didn't feel that it needed a response. She only really answered direct questions anyway.

The horses hooves verberated around the patch of trees and Ludo tore through the clearing. He spotted the duo, first noting the wagon, and pulled harshly on the reigns.
His stallion kicked up and then turned in the direction of The Bretheren.
Francis watched as Ludo rode up close, and nodded at his comrade. Ludo gracefully climbed from the horse, which bore no saddle, and dropped lightly to the floor, his tall frame towering above the two as wind whipped up his cape, which waved as the air passed around it.
"So this is where you hide." He said in his usual departed manner.

"Ludo how are you?" Francis asked his voice was deep but nowhere near as deep as Ludo. "So I take it you have heard about the other factions stirring against the Imperial?" The Inquisitor walked slowly around the bodies looking for any kind of mark that would give them away as bandits or even pirates from Hirren.
"Saku where was you heading?" Francis asked his hand reaching for a silver canteen.

Saku looked at Ludovais, her only greeting was the look of her odd eyes. "Ganura." She looked up through the canopy of trees, just able to see where the glare of the sun was coming from, they were somewhere to the south west she thoughts, maybe, but then again, she could never tell much.
Her long black hair shielded her face from the few bright patches of sun that snuck through the gaps in the leaves, allowing her to open her eyes fully, her sensitivity to the light not present right now.

Ludo took a slow and thoughtful step closer to the bodies. Such a glorious scene, he only wished he had partaken in it.
"Quite the slaughter." Came his sencere (If a little monotonous) reply. His eyes surveyed the scene and his hand touched the hilt Ando, his sword. He fantasized about the battle, the blood spread and the hurt. His eye twitched slightly and a slight smile curled at his lips. His hand wrapped around the sword, as he used it in his fantasy.
He came out of his day-dream and turned his head to see the others.
"Any news of our fourth?"

"I have none I am afraid." Francis said while he felt the sharp pain again in his chest, this reminded him that his disease was spreading taking more of his health with him.
"Ludovais how have you been?" Francis asked his eyes covered by the hat he wore. Francis placed his left hand on the heart of one of the decapitated men and muttered a pray, maybe he should try and make thier passing easier after all no doubt thier death was agonising.
The Inquisitor inspected the canteen and then tossed it at the feet of Saku. "Pirates." Franics muttered and then stood up straight.
"Should have been here by now, you lot heard anything?"

Saku watched, she noticed Ludovais' hand wrap around the hilt of his sword, and her head tipped a little to the right as she interpretted what he was thinking. She blinked slowly before taking her attention elsewhere. One of the horses, large and heavy as spooked by the smell of blood, it was backing away from the pile of bodies, it's partner not happy by moving backwards.
She returned her eyes to the inqusitor, looking down slowly at the canteen before closing her eyes for a moment. "Nothing. No one has contacted me in the last month." She answered truthfully.

Ludo took a breath and released his sword. Wind ruffled his hair and hissed as it passed through the greenery above.
"The meeting was scheduled two days back. The Ambassador speaks of four leaders, discussing war. He also mentioned the states on the factions they run...Quite abysmal, apparently."

Francis nodded and walked towards the spooked horses. "We should find a place to wait, in the open like this is stupid, anybody could be watching."
The Inquisitor laid his right hand on horses head, the fabric rubbing against his head. "It's a pity." The horses partener kept on naying scared of the bloodshed and had taken place only moments ago.
Francis pulled out one flintlock and aimed at the horse. The gun exploded into action ending the horses life. "I'll take this one."

She watched as the horse fell dead, the blood pooling on the floor and it surprised her that he hadn't thought of the idea she had. "We could have used that beat. Now we have gone riding, and a spare horse between two of us." She allowed a small glare at Francis before walking over to the other horse and loosening it from the wagon.
It's eyes flared open and it whinneyed loudly at her touch, it could feel the murderous intent that filled her inside, and it could smell death around her. She leaned forwards and whispered in the horses ear, and it silenced, although it was still quaking a little in fear of her.
"So who is walking?"

Ludo remained silent. Of course he would take his own horse to the City, there was no need to confirm it, either.
"We will meet again tonight, in the Imperial City. Hopefully our fourth will be with us, if not, then we shall press on without him. See me in the Arena at 8." The man said dimly and walked to his horse.
