Francis booted open the old Yew door. The old cripple inside could barely see, how could the Inquisition brand her as a witch. Francis did not dwell anymore on the matter, he was the reaper and he would cleanse her soul.
The flintlock aimed at the woman's head and the black powder ignited causing the solid ball bearing to erupt from the barrel and blow a chunk out of the womans head, Francis job was done.
When the Inquisitor left the small hut the stench of death lingered on, he knew she was no witch but worse was the religious leaders were corrupt she was most probably a libailty in some form or other.
The Inquisitor tilted his hat and walked through the forest to clear his mind of the matter.

She walked on, sore and tired, still coated in dried blood, most of it from other people. The cuts on her face and the back of her neck were the only things that showed she herself had been injured.
She was slow, even now and the logical part of her brain told her she was probably concussed and that she ought to rest, but she wasn't about to give in. Her long hair hanging down in front of her face, she walked through the trees, her pale whitye skin giving her the look of a ghost.

Francis stepped over a log, the metal clanging together with every step he took, although he was not huge his appearance was something else, a Inquisitor was always a daunting figure no matter how big they were but Francis adopted new techniques to combat other beliefs.
Saku stumbled on wards her body telling her to give up for the day and try tomorrow but everyone knew what Saku was like she was relentless and never gave up. With every step she took she grew weaker until finally she tripped over a tree stump, he head by rights should have slammed into the ground but above her towered Francis his arms scooping Saku up before she could fulfill the fall.
"Saku what happened?" Francis barked he looked furious.

Her feet had been dragging and she was falling physically, but her willpower had kept her walking for nearly ten hours now and she wasn't about to give up. She had never felt injury before and this was something new to her. Pain was old, but she could not undertsnad the physical changes injury made.
She slipped and felt air surging past her face, but what surpised her was the lack of hard groud. Instead she was caught by someone. Instanly her body reacted without her thought. She lept back, her wires in the air about her, wrapped around the armour of Francis, her seething face glaring at him.
Once she realised who he was, she released them, but stayed the two metres away she had lept, breathing hard, cold eyes looking at him as they always did.

Francis stood still the wires tangled around him. Not even a slight move was made by the holy Inquisitor.
"Saku are you alright?" Francis asked again his eyes staring right into Saku's, hatred was the only feeling Francis gave off not even Saku could match his furious and evil gaze.
"Saku!" Francis bellowed when she didn't answer him.

She wound back her wires, releasing the inquisitor from their deadly grip and placing them back inside the bag at her side. "I'm fine." She said calmly, managing to stop her voice shaking. Her hand was on a tree and she was leaning on it, although it was barely noticable.
She moved her eyes elsewhere, some of the pure distain that was inside her for every living thing, was removed and cast about the forest too. Even when she had been walking quietly, animals avoided her, smelling the pure killing intent that surroudned her.

Francis walked to wards Saku, the metal clanging as he walked to wards Saku.
"Who's blood is this? Is this yours? Tell me Saku what happened here?" Francis coughed and closed his eyes.
*Not now, come on not now!* Francis screamed inside of him. His heart slowed down slightly again after speeding up. He could feel the rush of blood clogging his throat but he would see what happened to Saku before he would relax and stay in the forest. There was no way he make it to the Imperial city tonite.

SHe looked at him, he didn't seem to be very well certainly and she wondered if he was injured. But he had been ill for a while, she had noticed it before, the coughing and the blood. Perhaps it was some form of flu.
She lifted her pale hands and ran them over her face, feeling the cuts and dried blood. "Some of it." The blood that sleaked her hair and that covered her clothes, was mostly that of the innocents and guards that got in her vision in the city.

Francis narrowed his eyes and then cleared his throat the blood running back down his windpipe.
"Saku what happened? I want to know everything from beginning to end, Miss no detail out."
Francis licked his dry lips and then went for his small canteen of water.

She leaned against the tree more obviously now, once she had stopped, some of her willpower had gone and that was all that kept her moving right now. Her mismatched eyes looked at Francis, curiously, she knew something was wron with him, but she didn't really want to know that much.
"I was playing in the square..." she thought it was paying, she who had never had fun any other way, it was her enjoyment. "And someone came and tried to stop me. They hit me in the back of the head when I was fighting and carried me into the forest." Her voice was expressionless. Saku had decided it was best not to say that it had been Ludovais, she would use it later.

Francis sipped the water and then offered it to Saku. "Any idea who attacked you?" Francis asked as he walked towards Saku. "We will find the culprit and try him." Francis spat on the floor and then saw the red patch spray up a tree trunk.
"Saku I need to go to Hirren will you be ok on your own?"

She frowned. "Yes." But didn't expand on the matter, she didn't feel ready to give away that playing card yet, it would be useful later. And she doubted if they would try Ludovais when they found out, besides, she would probably get shouted at for killing people again when she wasn't supposed to.
Not that it bothered her....
"I'm fine. I don't need help." Whether she needed help or not, she wouldn't admit to it and would rather walk over the edge of death than recieve even an arm from someone else. She was not someone that appreciated teamworj

Francis nodded his head and then turned to walk off. "Saku when I find out who has done this they will fear god."
The Inquisitor walked away from Saku knowing deep down she would seek revenge anyway.
