Malina was now happy. She had left the LaRoche family and was making a new start. She had moved everything in. Everything was in place. From first sight it looked like a junk store. But if one was to look closer one could see the importance of the items there.
She had birds of all kinds in cages hanging from the ceiling, reptiles in glass tanks on the sides of the hut. 3 felines roaming around, Malina's familiars. All kinds of plant life was put in preserving oils in jars. Many of the plants that can't be found around Hirren and only found high on the mountains by the Minisu Monastery. She had most kinds of fabrics, old and new. Books, incarntations, journals, everything you could think of. All that couldn't be found in a normal store in the 5 Factions.
She sat in the old mahogany chair and rattled 7 chicken's bones in a bag and rolled them across the table. He smiled at the bones with satisfaction.

The Inquisitor walked down the raised platoforms. Pirates stared at the religious man if they jumped him now they may have had a fighting chance, however if they did kill him the Inquisitor and the brethern would soon be in Hirren, something these people did not need.
Francis knocked on a door and then walked inside. The smell was different in here almost as if he stepped into a new world. "I am here because of the holy Inquisition wishes to see you."

The smoke from the scent purfumery whirled around Malina. She hummed a tune, an ancient tune. A tune of the devil.
"You come here because you want to." She swayed her head from side to side. "What is it you want of me...?" She said as she threw the bones out again. She smiled once more, satisfaction.
The birds were chirping at the stranger, the fish and other creatures made noises in their tank like bowls. There was a stranger in their mits.

"Like I said before the Inquisition wants to talk to you, they find your......." Francis looked around the hut and scowled. "Religion one of heresy they wish you to stop this before it escalates into a bigger discussion."
The Inquisitor walked towards one of the glass tanks where a lizard licked the sides. Francis heart was killing him, he was getting worse and he knew it.

All the time she never looked up at him. She concentrated at the job at hand. She moved the bones slowly with her long fingernails. "Hmm... it is tricky, tricky to see so far ahead, don't you agree...?" She questioned.
She bagged the bones in a blue velvet pouch. She slid it in her moth eated dress's pocket and kicked out a chir using her foot from under the table. "Sitting?" She said whether he wanted to or not.

The Inquisitors long coat dragged across the floor when he took the seat. "Now I have no time for this.....game of yours. You either co-operate or Hirren will get burnt to the ground."
Francis stared at Malina his dark eyes showing only pain, his rare disease was killing him slowly but surely.
"Now what do you say?" The Inquisitor now turned his attention to the caged animals. "Wouldn't you say this is cruel?"

She looked at the cages. She laughed. Some thought her crazy. "Cruel is only a point of view..." She uttered.
She was intrigued now, what did this man want with her? "What business does a sick imperial have with me? I dont nothing wrong...."
She was known throughout Hirren as being a witch. She could do things most Hirren's couldn't. But she thought of it as a gift, nothing more. She was agravated by the children there, but they dared not enter her hut, they thought she would turn them into a snake and cage them.

"The holy Inquisition want's you to stop doing this.........kind of worship you are to stop any kind of heresy in which you delve into." Francis coughed and then turned his attention back to Malina.
"What do you mean sick?" Francis couldn't touch her yet she was under Imperial protection and even if he did kill her he doubt he would ever leave Hirren alive.
"Tell me what you meant now!" Francis barked his hand touched his chest again, his heart seemed to tighten inside his chest and the Inquisitor strained not to show emotion.

Malina got up and went to a few jars, she pulled out 3 plants. She put them on the table. Next she places a large bowl on the table, in it she poured salts. A quick dash of Enual and a blow from her mouth and the bowl caught ablaze. She grabbed a thin blade from her hair, it had looked like an innocent hair pin. She diced up 1 of the plants and threw it into the flames.
The purple coloured smoke whirled from it. She then threw in the other two plants whole. The aroma was sweet. She moved it clower to the man. "Breathe it..." She beckoned.
"You have a demon inside of you... it is slowly killing you... Your heart..." She whispered before stopping. "Breathe..." She whispered. "It will ease it..."
She sat back on her chair and threw her bones. Sadness filled her eyes. "You're full of pain... Not the killing demon, but your inner memories..." She paused as she shut her eyes. "Death, death surrounds you..." She could see it plain. "Your family..." She stopped, she would say nothing more.

Francis stared at Malina and then slammed his hand into the bowl making it fling across the room. "How the hell do you know about my family?" The Inquisitors voice was very authoritative.
"What the hell do you know about my parents?" Francis stood up his chest pounding with pain. "Tell me witch before I bring the wrath of god amongst your people."
The Inquisitor stopped talking and closed his eyes the pain was getting worse everyday. "What in gods name did you put in that bowl?"

Malina sat there, if he had breathed in the aroma for a few seconds his chest would feel fine for a few hours. But no, he was to full of his holy rubbish to listen to her, a witch.
She sat back in her chair. "I see things... things that were, things that are, and sometimes, things that will come to pass... I saw what happened to your family. I saw your pain. I hear it calling out to me."
She got up and picked up her bowl of tricks and put it on a shelf. She quietly picked up the ingredients all splayed across the little hut. "That I wont tell you." She said when he asked her about the ingredients. "I have told you too much already!" She said rather cross with herself.
She stood up straight. She dropped the now usless plants in a basket - they would be thrown out.
"But tell me. It was a quarry... was it not? That took them? And a plague, it took the one you held so dearly, your mother...?" She asked, she knew it to be true, but most didn't believe the ramblings of the 'crazy witch'. But she wasnt crazy, not at all.

The Inquisitor growled and snarled at the woman. "None of your business I was young I don't remember." Francis stepped back and then bumped into a bird cage. The bird squacked at the Inquisitor who turned to face the bird and steady the cage.
"Tell me witch will you stop what you are doing or will the holy Inquisition need to come and purge this town?"

She walked closer to the inquisitor. "I can tell you I will stop... but it would be a lie... I cannot stop d'is. It is me..."
He seemed edgy to get out of there. Was he afraid of what she could do?
"What is it to the Imperial city and your holy inquisition if I carry out my practice..." She looked at him up and down. "Who are you, why have they sent you." What she meant by the word 'you' was not the inquistors in general, but this man. The man who stood directly infront of her.

"Your religion is a heresy and do not coincide with ours and they sent me because I am competent and because I was on my way here anyway."
The Inquisitor stood where he was and then touched the wall. "Now I will talk to your leader and if neither of you come to a conclusion which suits me then your town will be purged of its inhabitants."
Francis lowered his hat and then proceeded to leave the hut.

"Stop!" She shouted. "Do not bring out Captain into d'is. We can come to an arrangement." She added. "I will come to see your Holy Inquisitions with you. If you can account for my safety there. I must return to Hirren." She stated with some urgence.
It was agasint her ways, but she would sort out this herself. She would go and see his Holy men, with or without him.
