Ludo dropped the girls body just under a tree. He crouched down and looked at her bruised face. The frown that was on his face was one of concern, he was worried of her health.
Perhaps he should have let her kill those guards, perhaps he should have let her be and run.
But he didn't, he took action, and that's what mattered now. She looked to be in a bad way, though, he should have used more reserve before smashing her.
He tapped her cheek with the back of his hand.
"Saku." He said quietly, in an attempt to wake her. Here he was himself, not holding a silence or in hiding from prying eyes.
He was Ludovais, and proud of being a half-giant.

Even unconcious, despite the bruising and blood that whellen on her face, she was expressionless. The beast of fury had been silenced by her injuries as always, and now she lay with no understanding of her surroundings, her breath calm and regular in an attempt to hold her to life. The injuries were not quite so extensive as they looked, but blood, mostly that of others was matted in her hair and over her clothes, it looked as though she had been viciously murdered. She stood unable to move, unable to see, unable to feel. Everything was black and everything was nothing. She was alone there, the only thing she was aware of was the seat in front of her, a grand stone carved seat. She couldn't see it, but it was there.
Then, something appeared, a droplet it the floor, somewhere ahead of her, then another, and another until it sounded as though heavy rain had descended upon her, It was dripping on her head, on her hands, on her shoulders, everywhere.
Then there was a groan, not a human groan, that of something metal rubbing against another surface and the blood that pooled on the floor, for she knew what the droplets were, they were blood, it seemed to provide some source of light, although nothing seemed brighter.
Above her, around her, suspended everywhere, were the corpses of her victims. Their faces hanging down, glassy eyes staring down at the girl that had killed so many. She knew the endless halls were waiting to hold her victims, so yet more could look, watch their killer for all of time.
And she stood, her hands pressed to her sides, unable to move, her feet trapped together, her head in an unmovable position, looking up and about at the faces of her first victims, her parents. Trapped in her own wires, her only conscience was here, within her dreams. What had been blood dropping on her cheek turned to tapping, and the endless whispering groans of her weapon turned into someone speaking, slowly resembling her name more and more until she knew who was speaking. Her heavy lidded eyes finally cast open and revealed the light of day, blinding compared to her halls of the dead.

Ludo nodded slowly. "Good, you are not dead." He said and stood up, now towering above the limp girl. He took a breath of relief then turned to look out into the forest. Just up ahead was a small rabbit nibbling on a large dock-leaf. A smile took Ludo's face as he observed the small being.

Her eyes focussed on the huge figure leaning over her passing out of focus as he stood up. Aparently her eyes weren't workin properly as of yet. A cold white hand went to her face as she felt the sickly blood matting her hair bringing back the realisation of her past events.
She wondered why the currents beneath her surface has stilled, normally her dreams were much more... active than that. Her hands rested up behind her as she tried to prop herself up in a better position, feeling sore and giddy like she never had before. This level of injury was a whole new experience.

"Is - Is anything broken?" Ludo asked, realizing a new possible threat to his position in The Brethren.
Thinking about it, perhaps he should just kill her, and claim that the guards got her. His head was scattered with new worry, new paranoia.
Why was he so afraid of Francis and Elias? Maybe it was the sickening impact they had on him, even though he could kill either with a punch, but perhaps it was their skill of suceeding any task put before them...The same was true for Saku for that matter.
He knew that if they set out to kill him, or his father, one of them would succeed, one way or another.

She pushed herself up, wondering at the sensation that coursed across her body. As she straightened an automatic reaction stopped her, and for a moment, her impassive face gave a wince. "No." She moved her limbs to make sure before she continued her sentence.
"But if you had hit me harder, you would have been in trouble." It occured to her that he had hit her, on purpose, while she was taking out a common enemy. Had he betrayed them. She didn't pick up her weapons yet though, if he was about to attack her, she would see it coming.

Ludo frowned. Something just occured to him; He'd always thought of himself as a slave to the other three, being the muscle. However, it was he who'd found the group in the first place, it was he who'd wanted to join and get revenge on the Kilas Bandits for the slaughter of his mother. When revenge never came he remained in the group, transfixed with fear. But why? The Brethren had never threatened him or his father.
Perhaps he felt a belonging to the group, like a pet. They told him orders and he did them, trying to get them to kill the bandits. He realized that he'd never stood up for himself, slowly and surely becoming worthless in their eyes.
Well, he wasn't going to let them walk all over him this time.
"And you, Saku, would be dead." He said darkly.

SHe looked at Ludovais, noting a small change in his demenour perhaps for a moment, he was thoughtful certainly, and then an attempt at being intimidating. She pushed herself to her feet, using the tree behind her for support, preventing her from falling or sliding as she might.
"But I am not, and therefore I am going to head to the city." She was not pleased, her blood hunger had not been sated and she was left empty inside, still craving the killings, but her emotions still barred within her iron gate of impassiveness. Her feet were not steady yet, but she hesitated only for a moment, her gloved hands resting on the bark of the tree before she managed a small step forwards, pure willpower alone.

"Well, that's the wrong way." He said after her fourth painful step. Ludo had her. She was stuck now. "Do you know where we are?" Came the question, hoping for the obviously cocky reply, just to make Ludo feel better.

She looked at him sharply, her cold eyes piercing his, her murderous intent leeching into the very air as if it were cold and filled with knives. "No, but I can find my way." She answered shortly, looking up for a sign of the sun, for a sign that might tell her which direction was north.
She didn't know how long she had been unconcious, but probably not that long, he had probably just taken her out of the way of the city, it should be too far, so she probably ought to head west, maybe south, but her eyes could not identify the sun yet in blindingly bright sky.

"You've been out for days." He retorted loving the mental torture he was putting her through.
He crossed his mighty arms and leaned against a tree. This time, she needed him. He was no longer an animal willing to work for food and praise.
"Six days, actually. We might not even be in Septrem anymore, Saku." He added a slight smile on his face.

Her cold eyes looked over the great beast of a man once more. Mental torture, fear, she felt nothing. Her life, it didn't matter to her, the only thing that she valued, was power, and her pwoer to make people do her bidding, or kill them they refused. She turned away and took more jagged steps, although her cofidence was slowly returning, her steps a little more powerful, but she could manage barely more than ten before she needed to stop and hold a tree for support.
"Then I will walk back to Septrem." She was not one to be daunted by such a task, after all, she had never really been injured like this before, she ahd nothing to fear, losing her life, was of little importance right now.

"But which way?" He asked, drilling on. She'd not give in, but this torture was the only time he could be one-up on her. And not in brute force, either. In mentality.
Anyone could intimidate. Especially a half-giant.
"Why did you kill those people?" Ludo asked, his brows angled to signify a curiousity but also an anger within.

She continued in the way she had been going anyway, she knew that he was trying to intimidate her, to make her feel the fear she had never felt before, and get his revenge while she was weak. But he would pay for it later, if it continued. She didn't think about revenge, but when she lost it, it would happen, and she would probably search him out, although she didn't realise this at the time.
"Because it is my reason." Her life had never had reason, and those around her, whenever she had gained one, took if from her, and so, she made her own reason. Killing. She could live to kill, and this would solve her hatred that built up inside, her anger and her fury, none of which made her calm surface most of the time.

"You didn't kill me." He said sternly. "I could have killed you if I wanted, but I didn't, because I have what you don't. Morals and mercy. Why do you lack them, Saku?"
Ludo hoped she wouldn't attack him now, for the sole reason that he would have to stop her again and this time it would kill her. He stood up straight and flexed slightly - he was indeed a giant, towering above the tiny frame of Saku.
